The information on this site is provided as a benefit. By their nature, standard connections with different parts behind them are prone to problems. All the information provided on this site has worked great for me but I make no guarantees about the success anyone else will have working with this system. There are dozens of different types of NES/SNES controllers and virtually every PC is different and I will not be responsible if your interface does not work for any reason.

I will also not be responsible for any damages to your joysticks, PC, tools, carpet, house, self-esteem, or any other damage you might incur from building the interface. The wiring is not complicated, but you should always use care when working with any sort of electronic device or soldering equipment.  A lot of the work can be done with solderless crimp-on connectors which are much easier to use, in my opinion. If you're no good with soldering, then recruit that nerdy uncle of yours to build the interface for you...better yet, recruit ME to build it for you (see the ORDER page). As a nerdy uncle of 11, I'm quite the authority on such things. :)

I make no guarantees about the accuracy of anything on this site. I have gone to great lengths to make sure everything is accurate but typos and mistakes happen. If you choose to construct any of the projects on this site, you do so at your own risk and if you incur any damage, even if it is because of an error on my part, I will not be held responsible for any damages.
